The Nursing Professional Development Associate Course
For non-RNs working in nursing professional development.
This course is held in two sessions. Both sessions must be completed to receive a certificate. Registration fee includes both sessions.
DATE: Part One--Tuesday, October 20, 2020
Part Two--Thursday, October 22, 2020
TIME: Both sessions--1:30 - 4:30 p.m
- A Certificate of Completion will be issued when the evaluation is returned. This course is for all non-nurses who assist or plan to seek a position to assist either in a provider unit or with individual activity applications.
- This very important role assists continuing nursing education/nursing professional development processes to follow high-quality, best-practice guidelines with the oversight of a registered nurse but taking advantage of the wide range of skills non-nurse colleagues provide. Topics include a description of the role, individual activity applications, provider unit policy and procedures, file management following TNA/ANCC standards, creating marketing materials and certificates, communication with participants, vendors, sponsors, working as a team, and more!
Registration Fee and Deadline:
- $275 per person, which includes administrative fees, materials, training, and certificate.
- Registration deadline: October 15
